Great to meet you!

Hello, I am originally from Newark, NJ and moved around before I resided in Georgia for the past 27yrs. My educational background include Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder. I have worked in the field over 10 plus years. I have a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master Degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. I have certification in Medication Assisting Treatment, Alcohol and Drug and Licensure in Professional Counseling. I love helping communities develop outreach programs to help with homelessness, as well as untreated individuals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as it is a structured, evidence-based method that helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors, leading to improved coping mechanisms and long-term mental health benefits. I also use Solution Focus Therapy and Person Centered techniques to assist in Anxiety, Depression, and Mood Disorders.

What you can expect from me

I hope clients take away a sense of empowerment and the ability to manage their symptoms with possible solutions. I hope clients feel their voice is heard and validated with their burden is lifted.
