Great to meet you!

Welcome. I am a licensed clinical therapist who has been practicing for 23 years within the mental health field; my license to practice is currently within the state of IL. I am a mother to a young adult, and two adopted dogs. I believe therapy should be a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, empowered and where growth should occur. We will work together to move toward meaningful change. I am experienced in working with young adult and adult populations diagnosed with serious mental health disorders, going through life transitions, relationship struggles and trauma. My approach is humanistic and collaborative. I utilize evidenced based approaches yet realize we are all individuals and adapt my style to each client.

My approach to therapy

I am direct, solution focused and trained in CBT therapy. I also utilize relationship therapy techniques when addressing interpersonal relationships. I am warm, weave humor into sessions and meet clients where they are at and together our goal is to move you forward and in a positive direction.

What you can expect from me

During our first session I will get to know you, your history, needs and what you are seeking to work on together.
