Great to meet you!

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read about my professional background.

I graduated with my bachelor's in social work in 2013 from MacMurray College in Jacksonville IL.

I furthered my education at the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign School of Social Work and graduated with my Masters in SW in 2017.

I have gained 13 years of experience with the majority of those years spent in psychiatric facilities for children and adults.

I specialize in motivational interviewing, DBT, CBT, and a multitude of other treatment styles.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy begins with rapport building. I’ll get to know you, and you’ll get to know me.

I use various assessment styles to gather information on you and work with you to pinpoint what you feel is the issue(s) at hand.

I utilize a variety of therapy modalities to assist you in reaching your desired outcome/goal.

I assist you as you are “in the driver's seat.”

What you can expect from me

Upon your first therapeutic assessment session we will work together to gather your history (this also helps me to understand you).

Goals will be decided/developed giving you comfort in knowing we’re addressing issues, and making changes/alterations in your life.

My objective is to assist you in managing your own therapeutic process as you guide yourself towards your desired outcome.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your therapeutic journey. Now then, go ahead and get that appointment made!

See you soon!
