Great to meet you!

Now more than ever, it is so important that we all have mental, physical and emotional safe spaces so that we may explore our unique stories and experiences. I am always honored to be able to hold that kind of space for someone. I started off my career as a school social worker helping children with emotion regulation, family dynamic, and self esteem/identity. In more recent years I have specialized in trauma work, primarily with women and adolescents. I feel honored to work with incredible individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds as they utilize the gifts they hold within to take strides in their healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy will always remain warm, creative, light-hearted and rooted in safety and connection. Though this foundation of my practice remains consistent, I find it so important to honor that no two paths traveled are the same. I feel that there is an art in working together to mold a space that fits your comfort, style and unique approach to healing. Some of the trauma informed interventions I utilize in the process include person-centered, internal family systems, DBT/mindfulness, and somatic work.

What you can expect from me

We will spend the first few sessions establishing the safety I have been mentioning; we will move at a pace you are comfortable with and get to know one another to ensure you feel the space is a good fit before moving forward. Your mental health is sacred and I want to build a foundation that continues to reinforce that.
