Great to meet you!

I started my career in a prison, which really changed how I see people, strength, and what it means to show up for someone. Because of that, I don’t see you as a “case” or a “diagnosis” — I see you as a whole person with a story. I keep things clear and down‐to‐earth, so if we’re talking about something in session, you’ll understand it. Therapy is about you, and I’ll keep it human, straightforward, and sometimes a little lighthearted, too.

My approach to therapy

I work with teens and adults who want a space to breathe, feel understood, and not have to explain themselves over and over. Many of my clients are navigating identity, mood changes, trauma, or living with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. I lead with empathy, deep listening, and real connection, and I’ll bring in gentle humor when it helps. Together, we’ll work toward more steadiness, healing, and a life that feels more like yours.

What you can expect from me

I tailor therapy to how you learn and process best — talking things through, using worksheets or metaphors, or even walking while we talk. My goal is to make therapy feel doable, not overwhelming. I won’t add more to your plate than you can realistically carry. I often use Reality Therapy, which means I’ll be honest and direct when it’s needed — kind, but clear. If you’re looking for support that truly fits you, I’d be honored to connect and walk alongside you.
