Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! It takes immense courage to take this first step toward therapy, and I am here to support you. In my practice, I have a deep focus on helping individuals and families navigate challenges with anxiety, depression, women’s issues, and panic disorders. I also have extensive experience supporting people through grief and bereavement, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and managing stress and anger. My work is inclusive, and I offer a safe, validating space to explore LGBTQ+ issues. I see the person behind the diagnosis and am passionate about helping you find clarity and relief so you can feel more connected and grounded in your life and relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach is built entirely around you and your specific strengths. I don't use a "one-size-fits-all" method. In our time together, we will draw from proven, evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and strengths-based approaches to understand your thoughts and behaviors and learn new ways to cope. While our work is grounded in theory, the feel of therapy is conversational, warm, and authentic. I focus on creating an affirming, open-minded, and non-judgmental environment where you can feel truly heard and safe to explore whatever is on your mind.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you don’t need to have anything figured out. This initial meeting is purely about you, your comfort, and seeing if we are a good match for working together. I invite you to share what is bringing you to therapy at a pace that feels right for you. We will talk about what has been difficult and what you are hoping to change, and I will share more about my background and how I can help. Most importantly, I want you to leave this first session feeling hopeful and like you have taken the first, gentle step on a meaningful journey. You are in control of the conversation, and you can expect a warm and understanding space, right from the start.
