Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm so glad you are here! I'm a licensed psychologist with over 17 years of experience of providing therapy. In that time, I have had the opportunity to work with so many different types of people of different ages and from all different walks of life. I specialize in helping people of all ages navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. I value all types of individual differences that makes each person unique and believe those differences should be celebrated! I look forward to meeting you and learning about what makes you, YOU! I'm here to support and empower you on your journey to heal and change.

Whether you are facing a sudden change, divorce/break-up or relationship struggles, going through a life transition, career change, a teen or young adult managing the complexities of adolescence and young adulthood, preparing for or coping with parenthood, transitioning to retirement, or other transitions, I'm here to listen, help you gain insight into patterns that shape your experience, and guide and support you along the way.

It can be hard to ask for help. Reaching out for support takes courage and my goal is to make the process as comfortable and encouraging as possible. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, understood, and more empowered to move towards the life you want.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the healing power of relationships. The core of my approach is in working relationally and providing a warm, empathic space for clients to feel safe with sharing their lives, and their successes and challenges. From there, I integrate and pull from a variety of different approaches, including a variety of evidence-based methods, and tailor treatment based on what seems to fit best for each individual person and what their unique treatment goals are.

What you can expect from me

During the initial Intake session and goal setting session, I will likely ask a lot of questions to get to know you better and what you are looking for in treatment. After those sessions, I follow your lead as I want to ensure that you have space to take therapy in the direction that works for you. My goal is to help you gain insight and support you in achieving the growth and goals that you have for yourself!
