Great to meet you!

My name is Kelly and I'm here to truly listen to you, help you define that person you want to see in your future and set goals to help you get there. I want you to be that person you see in your future; the one that excites you and gives you the hope you need to keep going. You can be the best version of yourself that you want to be; I believe in you and will work with you to get there. I've been practicing in the state of Texas for the last 5 years and has lived here for the last seven.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is driven by you and the modality used also depends on what best fits for you. I use motivational interviewing to get to know you, your thought processes, and how you see the world before choosing between a solution focused method with cognitive behavioral techniques to help you form the necessary connections between your thoughts and your actions. Once that connection is established we can change your thinking, which will change the behavior you see as mal-adaptive.

What you can expect from me

I specialize in Anxiety, Depression, and Bipolar Disorder and do have experience with addiction and recovery from substances and alcohol. I also have experience with with neurogivergent individuals with ADHD as well as high functioning Autism and learning how to function within the limitations both of those diagnoses provide on a daily basis but I do not currently specialize in those diagnoses respectively. Let's get started getting you closer to who you want to be and how you want to be!
