Great to meet you!

I enjoy supporting individuals that are navigating some of life's toughest moments without judgement, with compassion and curiosity. I am highly effective with anxiety and depression using practical tools and clinical techniques to help each individual become the best version of themselves. I have over 17 years experience working with First Responders and am also honored to support our Veterans and active duty military members.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy getting to know my clients, building a solid relationship built on therapeutic rapport and trust. I employ an evidence based systems theory approach utilizing methods like EMDR, CBT and IFS and work collaboratively with my client to create a goal driven treatment plan.

What you can expect from me

Our first session usually lasts about 50 minutes, and it’s mostly a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll start by going over confidentiality and answering any questions you have about me or how I work. Then I’ll ask some questions about what brought you in and what you’d like to get out of our time together. You’re in control of what you share and how quickly. If a question feels like too much, you can skip it, and we can always come back to it later. It’s completely normal to feel nervous or unsure what to say, and there’s no right or wrong way to do this. My goal is simply to listen and understand your needs, so that together we can decide on next steps.
