Great to meet you!

Hey! I'm an extensively trained clinician with regard to trauma (PE, EMDR, CPT, TfCBT, and DBT), anxiety (EXRP, CBT, Exposure, Mindfulness) and mood disorders (MI, Strengths, CBT, Schema). I am heavily influenced by social justice and empowerment lenses. I am body positive and a proponent of Health At Every Size. I specialize in treating challenges related to identity (race, sex, orientation, gender, financial, ability, ethnicity, spiritual, body type, etc.), adjustment, anxiety, and shame.

A bit about my approach to therapy

So, the question is: what do you have to GAIN, not lose? My goal is to help your authenticity grow which inevitably creates less suffering. Being real, therapy takes courage. Nonjudgmentalness, genuine acceptance, accountability, warmth, and humor are the main pathways of support from me. I have had the privilege of supporting numerous people find their way from suffering to growth. Radical change and healing are VERY possible, I promise. So, let's chat...you ARE worth it.

What you can expect from our first session

I match well with those who feel misunderstood, misinterpreted, marginalized, and/or the 'Black Sheep.’ I connect well with people who: want to find their identity, desire acceptance, need practical coping skills, and/or deriving from family backgrounds rooted in violence, trauma, and/or neglect. I also have a dual degree in religion and support folx through spiritual struggles.
