Great to meet you!

Taking the step to begin counseling is not always easy, and finding the right fit matters. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, struggling with anxiety or stress, navigating relationship challenges, or going through a difficult transition, you do not have to navigate it alone.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) with extensive experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. For the past 10 years, I have provided counseling in a high school setting and have supported clients through a wide range of concerns, including emotional regulation, anxiety, peer and family relationships, self-esteem, and life transitions.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and also have a background in the medical field with a bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Science. Through both my medical and counseling experience, I have worked with individuals and families across many stages of life, including older adults and families impacted by dementia and Alzheimer’s.

I enjoy helping adolescents and young adults navigate important stages of life while developing confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of identity and direction.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered and solution-focused. I believe the foundation of effective counseling is a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and authenticity.

I strive to create a supportive, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe being themselves and openly discussing what they are facing. I work collaboratively with clients to help them gain insight, develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and move toward meaningful goals.

I understand that every individual’s experiences and needs are unique, so I tailor therapy to each client rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. My background in both counseling and healthcare also allows me to take a holistic perspective when supporting clients through emotional, relational, and life challenges.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming and relaxed environment where they can share at their own pace without pressure or judgment. During the first session, we will discuss what brings you to counseling, your current concerns, and what goals you hope to work toward.

My goal is to help clients feel heard, supported, and comfortable from the beginning while also gaining a clearer understanding of their needs and strengths. Together, we will begin identifying practical tools, coping strategies, and areas of focus that can help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and balance.

I believe therapy should feel collaborative and supportive, and I strive to create a space where clients feel understood and empowered throughout the process.
