Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a educational background from the University of Michigan, where I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work.

For the past 23 years, my professional journey has been deeply rooted in the field of social work, with a focus on fostering positive mental health and well-being in a middle school setting.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. I take a holistic and mindful approach to exploring strengths and weaknesses. Learning how to integrate mindfulness into your day to day activities helps to create a more attuned and deeper self-awareness which leads to cultivating both compassion and resilience.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, you can expect to begin establishing treatment goals in efforts to create a clear direction for the work we'll do together. We will begin the process of creating a safe and trusting space where you can explore challenges and work toward meaningful change. Taking the step to prioritize your mental health is a commendable and empowering decision, and I am honored to be a part of your transformative process.
