Great to meet you!

It’s easy to default to listing credentials, so just in case that matters: I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision (yes, technically a Doctoral Candidate—pinky up and all).

More importantly, my style is a blend of sarcasm, open-mindedness, and genuine kindness. I draw primarily from a humanistic framework, thoughtfully integrating cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and solution-focused approaches. I specialize in working with individuals navigating life transitions and seasons of transformation.

My approach to therapy

My foundation is person-centered, which means I believe you are the expert on your life, I’m not here to “fix” you. I merge that foundation with solution-focused strategies, choice theory, and cognitive-behavioral techniques (and other approaches when appropriate). Translation: I tailor therapy to you. Some sessions may feel reflective and insight-oriented; others may be practical and action-focused. We work together to find what actually moves the needle in your life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect the beginning of a real partnership, not an interrogation. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’re hoping will change, and what hasn’t worked before. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, you’ll have space to share at your pace, and we’ll start mapping out goals together. My aim is that you leave feeling heard, understood, and clear about our next steps.
