Great to meet you!

Hey there, I am Kelly ~

I am an LCSW, with a background in Psychology, Social Work, Non-Profit work, and Wholistic Healthcare Practices. I have worked with the full spectrum of life, ages 3-96. I have spent the majority of my career working with children and adults who have experienced extreme, long-term trauma and have first hand seen the full life spectrum of how untreated mental health conditions impact someones entire life, which is why therapy itself and having a bond with your therapist is so important.

I use a mixture of modalities based on clients diagnosis, symptoms and general needs to support where they are in the process. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) are utilized most in my practice among others as needed.

My approach to therapy

I view my role as your therapist as being your personal + clinical guide on your healing path, while I have a wealth of knowledge, so do you, your thoughts, feelings, experiences are your knowledge and they are essential to the healing process. We are a team. Your thoughts, feelings and safety are the priority. It can be hard to open up and share the depth of ourselves but I promise the more you share the more we can concur together.

My specialities are in trauma, anxiety, personality disorders, depression, disordered eating, SA/DV survivors, neurodivergence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will get to know each other a bit with a reviewing intake questions and gathering history. If there are things in particular you need to immediately get off of your chest we will hold space for that. If you have any questions or concerns for me, please feel free to ask at any time. Our sessions are intended to suit your needs please feel free to express yourself.
