Great to meet you!

The years between 13 and 30 carry a particular kind of pressure — academic stress, identity questions, the way your relationship with food and your body can quietly become one of the hardest things to talk about. That's the space I work in.

I specialize in adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, body image distress, eating disorders, self-esteem, learning challenges, and the transitions that come with growing up. My background spans school-based, inpatient, and residential settings — so I've seen these struggles from every angle and know how to meet people where they actually are.

I'm an LCSW in New Jersey with 12 years of experience, trained at Monmouth University. I keep a small practice intentionally — so every client gets real, focused attention.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in your strengths — not just the things that are hard.

I use CBT to help you recognize the thought and behavior patterns driving anxiety, depression, and negative self-image, and develop concrete skills to interrupt them. Motivational Interviewing helps when you're ambivalent about change — I meet you where you are, without pressure. Strength-Based work means we always build from what's already working in you, not just what needs fixing.

The goal is for you to feel more capable, more in control, and more like yourself.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask what's been going on for you, what you're hoping to work on, and what you want therapy to feel like. You set the pace — there's no pressure to cover everything at once.

By the end, we'll have a starting direction and goals that actually feel meaningful to you. I'm in your corner from day one.
