Great to meet you!

Hello! I graduated in 2020 with my Masters in counseling from Tarleton State University. During my internship, practicum, and professional career, I have worked in non-profits, local mental health agencies, acute psychiatric hospitals, and private practice. As a counselor, my goal is to walk along side you during this season providing support, and encouragement to empower you to take control of your life and reach your potential.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is a client-centered approach coupled with solution-focused therapy. I allow you, as the expert in your life, to take the lead and intertwine counseling interventions geared towards helping you reach the goals you set.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to take away what they get from the session. With a client who is open and honest, I can adjust interventions to be tailored to those who do not enjoy talking the whole session, or to include more talking for those who wish to only talk. I enjoy using a variety of options over several sessions to allow the client to see things from several perspectives, which also allows the client to develop new skills.
