Kelly Rettberg

So glad to see you! Taking your first step toward healing is often the most challenging and here you are! I have over 25 years of experience providing therapeutic services to individuals of all ages. I earned a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College in Springfield, MA in 2004 and I became licensed in the state of New Jersey in 2008 as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My current focus is to provide therap to invividuals ages 5 to 65+ and over.

I believe that we all walk differently through our journey of healing and change. My approach to therapy is working alongside the individual to help encourage self-awareness and facilitate insight oriented change and success. I am very client-centered and utilize Play Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and other modalities which are appropriate depending on age, need, and goals.

Our first session will be an opportunity for you to share what motivated you to take this first step and what your goals are for therapy. Since we all communicate and have different ways of allowing others into our lives, it is an opportunity for you to share what you expect from me and our time together.
