Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, I am passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges and transitions. My background includes extensive work with adults facing a variety of systemic and personal obstacles, including those who have historically had less access to resources. I am committed to creating a welcoming, affirming space for all clients, and I bring a deep sense of empathy and understanding to my practice. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and supported as you work toward your personal goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and rooted in meeting you where you are. I draw on my experience in crisis care, brief therapy, and long-term support to tailor our work together to your unique needs. Whether you are new to therapy or returning after some time, I strive to demystify the process and empower you to take an active role in your own healing. I am comfortable working with a wide range of concerns, from high-acuity situations to ongoing personal growth, and I value building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and authenticity.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where we will get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. I will take time to understand your history, your current challenges, and your hopes for our work together. We will explore your goals and begin to identify practical steps forward, ensuring that you feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. My priority is to make sure you leave our session feeling supported and with a clear sense of what to expect as we move forward together.
