Great to meet you!

With 18 years of experience, I’ve had the opportunity to support adults through many different challenges and seasons of life. I work with concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship and family challenges, grief, parenting concerns, trauma, and major life transitions. My style is warm, affirming, and practical. I want therapy to be a place where you can talk openly, better understand what you’re experiencing, and develop realistic ways to create positive change in your everyday life.

I know that each person comes to therapy with different experiences, values, and goals, so I’ll take time to understand what matters most to you. If faith or spirituality is an important part of your life, I’m also happy to incorporate your beliefs into our work in a way that feels comfortable and meaningful to you.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable, respected, and actively involved in the process. Rather than assuming I know what you need, we’ll work together to understand what’s contributing to your current challenges, recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build on the strengths you already have.

My approach is supportive, solution-oriented, and grounded in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strength-based approaches, and practical problem-solving strategies. Our work may involve developing healthier coping skills, managing difficult emotions, strengthening relationships, navigating stressful transitions, or simply gaining greater clarity about what you want moving forward.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and understand what you’d like support with. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. We’ll start with what feels most important to you and build from there.

You can expect me to be warm, supportive, and straightforward. I’ll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and help you recognize both the challenges you’re facing and the strengths you can build on. My goal is for therapy to give you greater clarity, practical tools you can use outside of our sessions, and more confidence in your ability to navigate whatever comes next.
