Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who infuses non-judgment and warmth into the work I do with my clients. I have over 7 years of experience working with people healing from trauma, wrestling with deep rooted anxieties, and navigating major life transitions. Other specialties include family of origin difficulties, attachment/intimacy related issues, and working with couples (EFT framework).

My approach to therapy

I aim to understand my clients in all of their complexities, and develop with them a compassionate and deep appreciation for the many parts of their emotional experience. I work from a psychodynamic, relational, emotion-focused framework, and strive to meet each individual where they are with the tools and skills they may need at that moment in time.

What you can expect from me

At the onset of therapy, we will work to understand your current struggle - what hurts, where you might be getting stuck, or perhaps finding yourself in an all too familiar self-defeating pattern. We will honor the emotions present and really tune in to understand the root cause and how we can attend to whatever's present. The therapy space will be exploratory, where we begin to name previously unstated inner experiences to give you more awareness and choice as you work towards creating the life you want. We'll begin to relate to previously shamed or ostracized parts of yourself differently, with curiosity and compassion, allowing tightly held painful beliefs or fears to loosen their grip and make space for new possibilities.
