Great to meet you!

Maybe your brain will not slow down long enough to finish what you started. Maybe the worry arrives before you are even out of bed. Maybe something happened years ago that you have never really put down. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors carrying ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I have spent over six years doing it across private practice, schools, and clinics. I work with people of all ages and abilities, in English or Spanish. It would be my honor to be a part of your journey.

My approach to therapy

You are the expert on your own life. We work together to reach goals you set, and you set the pace. Want to take some of the pressure off? Tell me and I will step in to guide. Some weeks that is structured, practical work with something to try before we meet again. Other weeks it is following wherever you need to go. I also use art, play, and narrative work when words are not the easiest route in.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly me getting to know you. What brought you here, what you have already tried, and what you want to be different. You do not need to have it organized first. I keep things relaxed and laid back, so bring your coffee and your cat if that helps. Before we finish we will name one or two things to aim at. I will also start pointing out what I call the glimmers, because we find what we look for. "You can be the master of your fate, you can be the captain of your soul. But you have to realize that life is coming from you and not at you. And that takes time." -Timothee Chalamet
