Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kelly! Thanks for considering working with me. I specialize in trauma resolution and getting folks out of fight, flight, or freeze. I'm a licensed clinical social worker and I have a second Masters degree in Human Sexuality Education. I've worked in 3 internationally-renowned trauma and addiction facilities as an individual, group, and family therapist. I hope that my many years of experience will bring a great deal of value and healing to our sessions together.

My approach to therapy

When I work with a client, I typically begin with building somatic and cognitive coping skills and listening to the client's story for better understanding. As our rapport grows and the client feels the sense of safety necessary for trauma work, we begin utilizing specific trauma interventions such as EMDR, PIT, and/or attachment-based therapy, among other modalities.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect compassionate care, affirming support, and straight-forward feedback that foster increased capacity in handling challenges, setting boundaries, improving self-worth, creating curiosity, and resolving trauma and conflict. I'm so excited to take these steps with you!
