Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Kelly and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Clinical Supervisor. I began working in the mental health field in 2014, achieved my master's in social work from Rutgers in 2017 and started my practice Golden Lens Counseling in 2025. I primarily focus in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults with anxiety, depression, improving self-esteem, grief, and trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a variety of approaches including support for navigating day-to-day stressors, processing thoughts & emotions from past experiences & relationships, examining upbringing & different family dynamics, psychoanalyzing different conscious/unconscious thoughts and or behaviors, and providing psychoeducation on diagnoses, treatments, and coping skills.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to create a safe and compassionate space for you to feel heard. The therapeutic relationship is so important to build trust and comfort. I like to focus on getting to know each person and their expectations, preferences, and focus for therapy. I'm very empathetic person and also bring some humor into sessions! I am here for you and believe that together we can help you feel yourself and your best.
