Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey and Colorado, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in Vermont, and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). I have over 15 years of experience working with individuals facing substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and major life transitions. My background includes work in outpatient, inpatient, IIC, detox, and private practice settings, serving as a clinician, clinical supervisor, and team leader. I work with both voluntary and court-ordered clients and bring a compassionate, direct, and non-judgmental approach that balances support with accountability.

My approach to therapy

I believe there is no single approach that works for everyone. My work is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy, using an integrative approach when appropriate. I focus on helping clients build insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change, whether they are seeking treatment voluntarily or fulfilling external requirements.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a structured yet supportive space to review concerns, history, and current needs while clarifying goals for treatment. For court-ordered or mandated clients, we will also review expectations, documentation requirements, and how therapy can be used effectively during this process. I aim to create a respectful, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, supported, and guided toward progress at a realistic and manageable pace.
