As an AuDHDer myself, I understand both personally and professionally what it's like to navigate a world that wasn't built with your unique needs in mind. Being autistic and/or ADHD doesn’t necessarily have to be the focal point of the sessions (but it can be, if you want it to be!). Whether you are diagnosed, self-diagnosed, suspecting or curious, this insight is helpful because being neurodivergent impacts so many of our thoughts, decisions, experiences, and the ways that we navigate the world. In therapy, I often use neurodivergent affirming, person-centered, motivational interviewing, relational and strengths-based approaches.
