Great to meet you!

Many of the women I work with are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, tense, or disconnected on the inside. You may be managing work, relationships, motherhood, or the constant mental load of keeping everything together, while quietly carrying anxiety, past experiences, or emotional patterns that feel hard to untangle.

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist who offers trauma-informed, relational therapy for women across Virginia. My approach focuses on understanding how past experiences, attachment patterns, and nervous system responses shape the ways you cope today. Rather than rushing toward quick fixes, we slow things down and create space to explore what’s underneath the surface.

Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in evidence-based practices. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, more regulated in your daily life, and more confident in the way you move through relationships and transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-based work, and trauma-focused interventions to help clients better understand the patterns shaping their thoughts, emotions, and relationships.

Rather than focusing only on symptom reduction, I work collaboratively with clients to explore how past experiences and nervous system responses influence present-day challenges. We slow things down, build insight, and develop practical tools for managing anxiety, mood, and relational stress.

Therapy with me balances reflection and skill-building. My goal is to help clients feel more regulated, more self-aware, and more confident navigating the transitions and relationships in their lives.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a clear understanding of what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life.

There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We move at a pace that feels comfortable and collaborative. I’ll also explain how I work, answer any questions you have, and begin identifying initial goals for our work together.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a better sense of whether we feel like a good fit and a clearer direction for next steps.
