Great to meet you!

I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and individualized care. I value creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself and feel truly heard.

My background and training have equipped me to use a variety of evidence-based approaches to support mental health and well-being. I believe in working together as a team, ensuring that your voice and preferences are always part of the decision-making process.

Above all, I am here to support you in a way that feels approachable, practical, and aligned with your personal goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe in treating the whole person, not just symptoms, and I take time to understand each patient’s unique experiences, challenges, and goals.

I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where patients feel comfortable being open and honest. From there, we work together to develop realistic, individualized treatment plans that align with each person’s needs and preferences. My training allows me to incorporate a range of evidence-based psychotherapy techniques, along with medication management when appropriate, to support meaningful and lasting progress.

Ultimately, my goal is to empower patients to feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their care.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where they can share their concerns without fear of judgment. I understand that starting mental health care can feel overwhelming, so I focus on helping patients feel at ease from the beginning.

The initial appointment is a comprehensive evaluation. We’ll discuss what brings you in, your current symptoms, personal and medical history, and any prior treatment experiences. I also make time for questions so you feel informed and comfortable with the process.

By the end of the session, we typically aim to:

  • Develop a clearer understanding of your concerns
  • Identify immediate needs and priorities
  • Begin forming a personalized treatment plan
  • Establish realistic, meaningful goals for care

This first visit is about building a strong foundation for a collaborative and effective treatment journey.
