Great to meet you!

I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Louisiana State University and am a licensed clinical social worker in Illinois. Additionally, I hold a masters certificate in LGBT Studies from Northern Illinois University. I have previously worked in the areas of education, inpatient psychiatric medicine, and outpatient community mental health. I enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan with a specific interest in maternal mental health.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a client-centered approach that honors your unique experiences, strengths, and aspirations. Together, we'll explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe, non-judgmental space. I strive to empower you with the tools and insights needed to foster meaningful change, and to navigate life with resilience, authenticity, and a renewed sense of purpose. My goal is not just to alleviate symptoms, but to cultivate lasting transformation and enhance your overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

I employ a direct therapy style focused on empowering clients to initiate and sustain positive change. Rooted in collaboration and action-oriented strategies, my approach is characterized by its clarity, engagement, and solution-focused techniques. This approach encourages clients to actively participate in their own healing and growth. Together, we'll uncover your strengths, build upon them, and empower you to overcome obstacles, cultivate self-awareness, and lead a more fulfilling life.
