Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Kelsey! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas. I received my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin and my Master's degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I enjoy working with adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, difficult life transitions, relationship or family challenges, or are navigating periods of uncertainty and seeking support as they move forward. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly about what you're experiencing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and respected. I work alongside my clients to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while developing practical coping strategies and identifying strengths that can help them navigate challenges. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy, tailoring treatment to each client's individual needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what brought you to therapy, what you're currently experiencing, and what you hope to gain from counseling. We will discuss your goals and begin identifying areas where you would like support. I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and respected, so there is no expectation that you have everything figured out before our first session. We will work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you and create a plan that is individualized to your needs.
