Great to meet you!

I've had a life long curiosity about the human experience, this curiosity led me to become a professional helper. Seeing my clients quality of life improve is why I love what I do. I enjoy helping others in reframing their personal narrative. Creating a positive connection with my clients is a strength of mine. In my 15 years of working I’ve worked with clients in a range of different settings. I'm so pleased that therapy is now more available to so many thanks to the ease of online therapy.

My approach to therapy

My background in both art therapy as well as traditional talk therapy allows for a unique perspective and a range of different interventional options, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, exposure therapy, substance use harm-reduction, and motivational interviewing. I gravitate toward a client-centered approach, because no one intervention works for all, and I lean into my experience and insights to fit the needs of each client.

What you can expect from me

For so many starting therapy is a journey that also can cause anxiety. I offer a warm, supportive environment to explore personal narrative. The past does not need to mirror the future. Identifying cues of distress aids in connecting how the mind, body and behavior all work together. These insights help in not repeating old patterns that no longer serve you well. I'm strength based and believe a little levity never hurt the therapeutic process.
