Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 3 years and a total of 6 years in the field. I earned my Master of Science from Northeastern University and completed specialized training at McLean Hospital at the OCD-I. I am a native New Yorker and LGBTQIA+ ally and advocate. I specialize working in OCD/ERP and also have worked with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism, life transitions, young adults, queer, and geriatric clients.

My approach to therapy

My goal is for my clients to feel empowered to become the best versions of themselves and to confidently navigate life's complexities. I am a collaborative, interdisciplinary, culturally-informed therapist. I like to incorporate approaches from modalities including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, ERP, ACT, person-centered therapy, somatic therapy, and strength-based therapy, based on my clients' strengths and needs.

What you can expect from me

The first appointment is typically more structured, with a range of questions about various aspects of your life. We will get to know each other, understand your goals, and my approach. At the end, we will see if it's a good fit to continue working together. Moving forward, appointments are more loose in structure, where clients are encouraged to bring any topics (whether from the past, present, from the intake, or new) into the space and see where that brings us
