Great to meet you!

Hi there, and welcome!

I’m Dr. Kelsey Ondriezek, LPC, NCC, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I hold a Doctorate in Professional Counseling, a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Bachelor's degree in Writing, Education, and Philosophy from Georgia Southern University.

I’ve spent nearly a decade helping individuals and families across a wide range of mental health settings. My background includes outpatient clinics, residential treatment, private practice, schools, and both juvenile and adult correctional facilities. Over the years, I’ve also completed specialized training in areas such as trauma treatment, assessment and diagnosis, sand tray therapy, child and adolescent therapy, family counseling, group psychotherapy, DBT, crisis intervention, and addiction treatment. This allows me to tailor your care with approaches that fit you rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all method.

I offer therapy and assessment services in a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, feel heard, and gain clarity.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in person-centered principles. You are the expert on your own life, and our work is built on authenticity, trust, and genuine human connection. I begin by understanding who you are as a whole person, including your strengths, values, and lived experiences, not just the struggles that brought you in.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as DBT, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems work, including structural family therapy and experiential family therapy. From there, I choose interventions that match your individual needs so the work feels relevant and individualized.

Therapy with me is warm and down-to-earth. I help you make sense of what’s happening internally, build skills that support lasting change, and understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck. You set the pace, and I’m there to offer clarity and a thoughtful process that helps you move toward experiencing joy and hope again.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get a clear picture of what you’re dealing with right now. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been feeling, and what you hope will be different. There’s no pressure to share everything at once, we can go step by step.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and needs, and you can ask anything you’d like about the therapy process or my style. Together, we’ll outline a direction for your work so you know what to expect moving forward.

Most clients leave the first session feeling relieved to have started and more supported than when they walked in. It’s simply the beginning of creating space for change.
