Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a Master of Social work degree from Rutgers University. I currently only work with individual adults. My professional background, training, and life experience have provided significant experience in addiction/substance use, PTSD/cPTSD and trauma-related/attachment/personality disorders, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, Autism, LGBTQ+ issues, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, relationship issues, OCD, and Adjustment Disorder.

My approach to therapy

My approach is non-judgmental, centered in respect and compassion for the client and their story. I provide a therapeutic experience through alliance, close listening, collaborating with the client in making connections, and affirming with warmth, humor, and curiosity. As a former elementary and middle school art teacher, I draw from playfulness, creativity, and interpersonal attunement. The goal is to understand and help through a combination of connection and evidence-based practice.

What you can expect from me

Clients say that they leave our sessions feeling understood and validated with new insight. Whatever their individual needs, my clients report improved mood, increased self-worth, and hopefulness. Together, we build self-knowledge and self-compassion, as well as learn and practice new skills to help clients move forward more comfortably in life.
