Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes therapy should feel like a human connection, not a script. My work blends evidence-based approaches like CBT and person-centered therapy with creative tools — sometimes that’s a conversation, sometimes it’s a metaphor from a video game, and sometimes it’s exploring the story you’re living and the one you want to write next.

Clients describe me as real, calm, and easy to talk to. I don’t expect you to show up perfectly put together — you can be messy, uncertain, curious, or skeptical, and we’ll figure things out together.

I’m especially passionate about helping people who have felt misunderstood or out of place in traditional therapy. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, navigating identity questions, feeling disconnected in your relationships, or trying to make sense of who you are and what you want, I offer a space where you can slow down, breathe, and feel truly seen.

My style is collaborative, honest, and unpressured. I’m not here to “fix” you — I’m here to help you understand yourself more deeply, build tools that actually fit your life, and reconnect with the strengths you may have forgotten you had.

Outside the therapy room, I’m a philosophy nerd, gamer, husband, dad, and someone who finds meaning in both the deep conversations and the small moments. All of that shapes how I show up: grounded, curious, and fully human.

If you want therapy that feels genuine, inclusive, and tailored to you, that’s exactly what I aim to provide.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping you understand yourself deeply while building tools that actually work for your life. I combine evidence-based therapy with creativity, body awareness, and real-world strategies — because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all.

I draw from CBT, person-centered, and existential therapy, but I also make space for play, curiosity, and unconventional methods when they fit. That might mean using video games to practice emotional regulation, incorporating metaphor and storytelling, or exploring how your body responds to stress and connection.

I work best with clients who want therapy to feel authentic and human. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, identity questions, relationship challenges, or neurodivergent experiences, I help you slow down, reconnect with your values, and approach life with more clarity and confidence.

At the core, my approach isn’t about “fixing” you — it’s about understanding you, supporting you, and helping you grow in ways that feel sustainable and true to who you are.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, expect a space that’s relaxed, real, and maybe a little awkward — and that’s totally okay. I bring humor into the room because therapy doesn’t have to be stiff or sterile. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and how we might work together. You don’t need to have the perfect words or a polished story — just show up as you are. Whether we’re chatting or gaming side-by-side, my goal is to help you feel safe enough to be honest, even if that honesty comes with a few nervous laughs.
