Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in Texas, working with individuals, couples, and service members navigating stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and substance use concerns.

As a U.S. Army Veteran, I understand the impact of high-pressure environments, leadership demands, and major life transitions. That perspective allows me to connect with clients who are used to carrying a lot and are ready for practical, effective support.

My goal is simple: help you gain clarity, strengthen your coping skills, and move forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is practical, supportive, and focused on helping you create real change in your everyday life. We’ll work together to understand what’s going on, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build clear, effective strategies to move forward.

I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and Adlerian techniques. This means we’ll look at how your thoughts, behaviors, and past experiences are connected, while also focusing on your strengths, goals, and values.

In sessions, I’m supportive but also direct. I’ll help you process challenges while offering honest feedback and tools you can actually use outside of therapy. My goal is for you to leave each session with more clarity, confidence, and a sense of direction.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you can share what’s been going on at your own pace. We’ll focus on understanding your concerns, your background, and what’s bringing you to therapy.

I’ll ask questions to help identify patterns, stressors, and goals, and you’ll have space to ask questions and get a feel for how I work. Together, we’ll begin outlining what you want to get out of therapy and set some initial goals.

By the end of the session, you can expect to leave with more clarity about your situation, a sense of direction for moving forward, and a clear understanding of how we’ll work together.
