Great to meet you!

Moms do a lot on their own, so if this was easy to figure out alone you would have done so already. If you are looking for support, I am here when you are ready. My name is Dr. Kendal Cassidy; I am a licensed psychologist and spent nearly ten years in training in order to provide specialized care for mothers, including during the perinatal period (pregnancy, postpartum, loss and beyond).

My approach to therapy

I find that my clients are individuals who enjoy a more active therapy, where we both work together in session to gain clarity, compassion, and direction in order to work on the challenges you are struggling with. My approach with you will be tailored to you as an individual, but you can expect us to utilize strategies such as improving your self-compassion, identifying and adjusting social habits in relationships, challenging problematic ways of thinking and identifying your goals and the life you actually want to be living.

What you can expect from me

I hope for two major outcomes for you in therapy: to identify and make progress towards diminishing the challenges in life that are causing you distress, but to also identify what you want more of in life so that we can move you towards more fulfillment and enjoyment of your motherhood and life as a whole.
