Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kendra, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). I work with high-achieving adults who look “fine” on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or exhausted underneath. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, and burnout, with particular care for Black women and other professionals navigating high pressure and high expectations. I offer a warm, culturally responsive space where we slow down, understand your patterns, and build practical tools for change—on your terms.

In addition to therapy, I also offer clinical supervision for MSW-level clinicians and clinical consultation for licensed professionals. Please schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. I believe many high-achieving adults are managing more than they’ve had space to process, so we slow down and create safety first. I blend practical tools with insight-oriented work to help you regulate your nervous system, understand your patterns, and make choices aligned with your values. Therapy with me is both supportive and direct—we build skills, but we also tell the truth. The goal is not perfection, but clarity, agency, and sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we focus on creating safety and clarity. I’ll ask questions to understand your story, your stressors, and what hasn’t been working, while making sure you feel respected and not rushed. We’ll begin identifying patterns and setting realistic goals that align with your values—not just external expectations. You can expect warmth, structure, and honesty. My aim is for you to leave feeling both supported and empowered. For clinicians seeking supervision, this same approach is applied to support your clinical growth, confidence, and decision-making.
