Great to meet you!

Welcome!

I’m Kendra, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois and a Certified Somatic Therapy Practitioner. With over 10 years of experience, I support individuals in reconnecting with themselves and navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions with greater clarity and ease.

My approach blends somatic (mind-body) therapy with nature-based practices to support deeper awareness, emotional regulation, and lasting change. I believe healing happens when we learn to listen to our bodies, not just our thoughts. I am committed to creating a safe, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals, where your full identity and experiences are welcomed and respected.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic, mind-body approach to therapy that also incorporates elements of nature-based practices. Alongside conversation, I use somatic techniques to help you understand how your experiences live in your body, while also encouraging connection to the natural world as a way to support grounding, regulation, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

As your therapist, my goal is not just to help you “get better,” but to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and able to show up authentically. I value building a genuine therapeutic relationship that extends beyond sessions and supports how you move through your everyday life.

Together, we will focus on increasing your sense of self, identifying your strengths, and exploring meaningful connections that support growth in the areas you may be struggling. Each session is centered around your overall wellness, with an emphasis on building self-awareness and creating sustainable change.
