Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kendra, a licensed mental health counselor in Florida working with individuals, couples, and teens. My early career was in a residential setting supporting teens through real crisis, including self-harm and suicidal thoughts, and that steadiness carries into how I show up with you now.

My approach to therapy

I bring a flexible, evidence-based toolkit, drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) depending on what you need. With couples, I lean on the Gottman Method to help you break repeating conflict and actually hear each other again. With families, I use psychoeducational family therapy and motivational interviewing to build lasting change, not just insight. My style is strength-based and psychodynamic where useful, looking at your patterns while staying grounded in what's already working for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation: what brought you in, what you've tried before, and what better would actually look like. From there we build a plan together, whether that's anxiety, OCD, trauma, grief, relationship conflict, or stress that's followed you from work into everything else. I work with individuals, couples, and teens, and sessions are 100% Telehealth so you can do this from wherever you're most comfortable.
