Great to meet you!

I earned my bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies and minored in Psychology at Colorado State University. I then earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

I reside in California where I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for 31 years. I am also a licensed Marriage and Family therapist in Arizona and Colorado. I have worked in many therapeutic settings in my career including mental health and substance abuse treatment facilities working with adults, adolescents and their families.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy by providing a confidential, non-judgmental, safe space to share difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I view the therapeutic relationship as collaborative and will use my clinical expertise in conjunction with my clients' stated goals and comfortable pace.

What you can expect from me

I will do an initial intake session to learn about my client and why they are seeking therapy at this time and what they hope to accomplish in therapy : learn how I can help them. I will introduce myself and provide an overview of my clinical experience and approach to therapy. I will also review necessary information regarding informed consent , limits of confidentiality as well as what they can expect in therapy. I will also answer any questions a client may have.
