Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience practicing in the State of Kansas. I have specialties in Trauma-focused care, Cognitive Behavioral therapy and I am a Registered Play Therapist. My area of practice is individual therapy for all ages.

I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy to meet the emotional needs of my clients and to ensure a safe space to openly share thoughts and feelings in a manner that allows for self-exploration.

I communicate openly and honestly, creating a judgment-free zone where you can express whatever thoughts you need. Sessions are a space for release and unburdening, allowing you to process situations in your life without fear of judgment.

Goals are established collaboratively with you, laying the groundwork for your therapeutic process. Each client has different expectations, so we'll work together in a collaborative environment to create goals that reflect your unique needs and thought processes.

I have always enjoyed listening, helping, and providing feedback to those who needed assistance. I believe life experiences from our family, childhood, and adult life have allowed me to have a unique perspective on helping others.

My approach to therapy

I have found over multiple years of practice that having open dialogue with the client allows for the most clinical successes and growth, no matter what area of expertise is utilized in session.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, I want you to feel safe, valued, and supported. You can ask any questions necessary for me to understand why you're seeking therapy. We'll establish a connection and help you understand what this process will be for you.
