Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kendra Theroith, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families heal, grow, and thrive. With years of clinical experience and a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and have extensive training in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. My background includes working with youth in foster care, survivors of abuse and neglect, and individuals facing depression, anxiety, grief, identity challenges, and life transitions.

As a therapist, I understand that no two journeys are the same. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs and cultural context. My goal is to empower you with the tools, insight, and support to move forward with confidence and clarity.

If you’re ready to start your healing journey—or just need someone to talk to—I’m here to help.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that healing begins in a safe and supportive environment, and I work hard to create a space where you can be your authentic self without fear of judgment. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing and uncover the strengths and solutions already within you.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care. My style is flexible and tailored to meet your individual needs—whether you need help managing anxiety and depression, navigating life transitions, processing trauma, or building healthier relationships.

I view therapy as a partnership. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to walk alongside you with empathy, clinical insight, and genuine care. We'll set goals together, celebrate progress, and work at a pace that feels right for you.

Above all, I aim to empower you with tools, self-awareness, and confidence so that you can create lasting change and live a more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, empowering, and judgment-free environment where they feel truly seen and heard. My goal is to help you gain clarity, build emotional resilience, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

In our sessions, we’ll work together to identify patterns, process difficult emotions, and set achievable goals. Whether you're seeking healing, growth, or simply a space to process and reflect, I strive to create a calm, culturally sensitive space where you feel safe to be yourself.

Over time, clients often report:

  • A deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences
  • Improved coping skills and emotional regulation
  • Healthier communication and relationships
  • Increased self-esteem and self-compassion
  • Relief from anxiety, depression, or trauma-related symptoms

Ultimately, therapy with me is about helping you reconnect with your strengths, feel more in control, and live a life aligned with your values.
