Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kendyl. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Louisiana, and I’ve spent over 15 years supporting adults and families through some of life’s most meaningful (and challenging) seasons. I specialize in perinatal and infant mental health and am a PSI Certified Perinatal Mental Health provider, helping individuals and families navigate fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood with care and support.

I often work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, birth or medical trauma, NICU experiences, and the emotional ups and downs that come with major life changes. My style is calm, compassionate, and collaborative — therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. We go at your pace and focus on what feels most important to you.

I also love supporting new parents as they manage stress, identity shifts, and the challenges of early childhood. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling more supported, grounded, and confident in yourself and your parenting.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and centered on connection. I focus on helping you feel truly seen and supported as you navigate the journey to parenthood, make sense of your experiences, and move toward healing, growth, and deeper connection with yourself and your family.

What you can expect from me

I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation before your first session. This is a low-pressure chance for us to connect, for you to ask questions, and to see if working together feels like a good fit.

During the call, we’ll briefly talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping for right now. I’ll also walk you through what working with me looks like and answer any questions you may have, so you can feel comfortable and informed as you decide next steps.
