Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Keneitria—a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with over five years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through some of life’s most difficult moments. I’ve worked in psychiatric hospitals, school districts, and outpatient settings, giving me a well-rounded understanding of mental health across the lifespan. I specialize in working with clients navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I’m passionate about helping people understand their emotions, challenge unhelpful thinking, and build confidence in who they are becoming.Clients describe me as warm, nonjudgmental, and insightful. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space to pause, reflect, and feel genuinely supported—especially for those who are used to carrying everything on their own. I meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you work toward healing and change. If you’ve been feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure where to start, you’re not alone—and you’re in the right place.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in helping you feel seen, heard, and understood. I believe that therapy should honor your unique lived experience while also offering practical tools to help you grow. I use evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to help clients address unhelpful thought patterns, build emotional awareness, and move forward with intention.Whether you’re navigating anxiety, ADHD, stress, or life transitions, my goal is to support you in building a stronger foundation for your emotional wellness. I take time to get to know your story, understand your goals, and adjust my approach based on what’s most helpful to you. Together, we’ll explore not just what’s going wrong, but what’s possible—and build from there.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you in a supportive, low-pressure environment. I’ll ask questions about what brought you to therapy, what you’re currently struggling with, and what you hope to get out of our time together. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with—there’s no pressure to “have it all figured out.”We’ll go at your pace while exploring themes that might be helpful to unpack. This is also a chance for you to get a feel for my style and ask any questions you have about the therapy process. You’ll leave the session with a clearer sense of direction and at least one small step you can take between now and our next session. My priority is to make sure you feel safe, seen, and supported—right from the beginning.
