Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I have worked in both inpatient hospital and outpatient settings, caring for individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions across the lifespan.

My passion is women's mental health. I specialize in supporting women through the unique emotional and psychological challenges that can occur during different stages of life, including postpartum, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), infertility, menopause, anxiety, depression, and trauma. My goal is to help close the gap in women's mental health care by providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment that empowers women to better understand their mental health and take an active role in their well-being.

My approach to therapy

My practice is rooted in holistic, patient-centered care. I believe every woman deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported. I take a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care, creating a safe and judgment-free environment where patients can openly discuss their concerns and work toward meaningful, lasting improvement. Treatment plans are individualized and may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, and lifestyle recommendations tailored to each person's goals and needs.

Whether you are experiencing a new mental health concern or have been struggling for years, I am committed to helping you build resilience, restore balance, and improve your overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can openly share your concerns, experiences, and goals. During this comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, we'll take time to discuss your current symptoms, emotional well-being, medical and mental health history, family history, lifestyle, and any previous treatments you have received.

If medication is appropriate, we'll discuss the available options, including the potential benefits, risks, and side effects, so you can make an informed decision about your care. Depending on your needs, your treatment plan may also include supportive psychotherapy, lifestyle recommendations, stress management strategies, or referrals to additional resources.

By the end of your first session, you can expect to have:

  • A clear understanding of your symptoms and concerns.
  • An individualized treatment plan tailored to your goals.
  • The opportunity to ask questions and actively participate in treatment decisions.
  • A plan for follow-up care and ongoing support.

My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, understood, and hopeful, knowing you have a partner who is committed to supporting your mental health journey.
