My name is Kenisha Reese, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), specializing in mental health, families, and children. I started my career as a QMHP over 13 years ago after graduating with my bachelor’s degree in social work (BSW) from Shaw University. Later, I earned my master’s degree in social work (MSW) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
I believe that a good therapeutic relationship includes trust, genuineness, openness, and positive outcomes, and that is the type of service that I provide. I know that no single approach works for every individual, and so I have some experience in a range of modalities including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, to name a few.
I believe that although we face tough times, we deserve to have a good quality of life and to excel in reaching life’s potential.
