Great to meet you!

Welcome to Blissful Aura Therapy — I’m truly glad you’re here.

I’m Kenisha Sullivan, a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma-informed therapy. My work focuses on supporting individuals navigating PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-worth challenges, eating or body-related concerns, and neurodivergent experiences.

I am particularly interested in helping you understand how past experiences, stress responses, and personal identity shape the way you move through the world. Therapy with me is a space for thoughtful reflection, emotional safety, and meaningful growth toward greater stability and confidence.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your pace and comfort. Healing is serious work, but it does not have to feel overwhelming. There is space for insight, recovery, and personal growth throughout the process.

I look forward to meeting you and learning more about your story.

My approach to therapy

I provide a warm, compassionate, and empowering space where adults and teens can explore their emotions, gain insight, and work toward meaningful and lasting change. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and individualized, meeting you where you are while supporting you in moving toward your goals.

I integrate evidence-based modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based strategies, trauma-informed care, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support emotional healing, regulation, and personal growth.

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, identity and life transitions, relationship concerns, grief and loss, eating and body-related distress, neurodivergent experiences, and substance-related concerns.

Each session is designed to help you reconnect with your strengths, build emotional stability, and move toward a life that feels more peaceful, confident, and aligned with who you are.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity to begin building a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. We will spend time getting to know one another, discussing what led you to seek therapy, and exploring your personal goals and concerns.

This session is focused on understanding your unique experiences, emotional needs, and the challenges you are facing. Together, we will begin identifying patterns, strengths, and helpful coping strategies while developing a personalized direction for your treatment.

My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported in sharing your story. By the end of the session, many clients feel a sense of clarity, validation, and hope as we outline the next steps in your healing and growth journey.
