As a strength based, solution focused, and trauma oriented therapist, I respect clients’ experiences, choices, strengths and abilities to find solutions. People are resilient and are able to cope mentally and emotionally with a crisis and return to a better place. I have a Masters in Counseling, Advanced Drug and Alcohol Certification, licensed Attorney. My specialties are mental health/ substance use, relationships, trauma. Adults, couples.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work with a client to build a positive and trusting relationship, invite the client to express their struggles with issues and concerns, develop a client centered plan, and use effective counseling techniques to support the client in identifying more positive thoughts and feelings to improve their wellbeing. I use motivational interviewing, CBT and trauma informed therapy.
