Kennedy Anyanwu

Kennedy Anyanwu is a graduate of University of Texas Arlington and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with practice experience in inpatient psychiatry Hospitals, outpatient psychiatry settings and inpatient alcohol and drug addiction treatment.

I incorporate an evidence-based care approach in the treatment of major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Obsessive-compulsive disorder, Panic Disorder, Bipolar disorder, and Attention Deficit Hyperactive disorder (ADHD). Schizoaffective disorder and schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.

My approach to care goes beyong patient knowing the reason for seeking care but also other psychosocial dynamics that might in play. Showing concern to clients reason for seeking care through active listening and demontration of of emphathy enables developement of rapor that is vital to progress and good outcomes.

My goal is to help clients attain optimal mental health status by providing high quality mental health care that is tailored to specific individual needs, holistic, culturally competent and evidence based.
