Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I believe that prioritizing your mental health is one of the most important steps you can take toward creating a more balanced and fulfilling life. My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your thoughts and experiences without judgment. My experience includes working with children and adolescents who are involved in the child welfare system. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for personal growth, I’m here to support you in building insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and grounded in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being your authentic self. I believe that therapy works best when it’s tailored to you, so I take the time to understand your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and trauma-informed care. At the same time, I integrate a flexible and holistic perspective, recognizing that no single approach fits everyone.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a supportive and welcoming environment where we begin getting to know one another. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace, without pressure or judgment. Together, we’ll begin to clarify your goals for therapy.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of how we can work together, as well as an initial plan tailored to your needs. Most importantly, my aim is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path forward.
